On the 16th of May me and my friend Travis decided to continue our studies on how gas, liquid, and solid works by creating a slide show that tells you exactly what a gas is and how its created. Me and my friend Travis really enjoyed making this because it actually informed us about heaps of stuff we didn’t already know, so I’m very happy we decided to make this slide. For mahi a Tahi I wrote a story to get a couple points.  here’s my story.

Once upon a time there was a young girl named Aaliyah. Aaliyah was a very nice girl. She would always go out into the world and share kindness with everyone around her. But one day she was scouted into the girls army and everything went downhill from there. Everyone made fun of Aaliyah because she wasn’t very big. But once everyone got to know her they started to like her, and realised that even though she appeared small she was very kind and nice. Once they started the army training everything was looking good until they put her with the most horrible girl in the whole army Patricia Dortmund. Patricia Dortmund was the worst girl because she didn’t want any friend even if they tried to be nice to her she just would always be mean. But somehow Aaliyah made it through that training and got back to her cabin. After a few months of training they finally started the war and Aaliyah made it through the journey of war and successfully made her way home with a few new friends. But little did she know she did so well in the army they had to scout her back into the girls army one more time for her amazing services and communication skills. So she was scouted back into the army and made her way back into the army training again. And sadly she got paired up with Patricia Dortmund once again it seems like she was drafted again as well. But this time when Aaliyah tried to talk to her she replied and was really nice so they got along. After they had won the war they were all super happy they had made it out. The girls finally got along and enjoyed their life outside of the war and even started hanging out together. The End

Louis Pasteur was a great inventor/chemist. Some may say he was the best chemist, or even the savior of millions. Louis Pasteur is the creator of the first vaccines ever made. Louis Pasteur was born on December 27th 1822.

Louis Pastuer was a great inventor and to me a savior because I’ve now realized that imagine if we didn’t have any vaccines for the plague, flu, or the covid 19 pandemic. Imagine how many innocent people would die, Babys, mothers, fathers, and other innocent people. 

In 1872 Louis Pasteur had to go through so much pain. He had a stroke one night that year, and 2 of his daughters died due to typhoid because there were no vaccines around back then. This is the reason why louis pasteur decided to make the first vaccines because he couldn’t bear the thought of other innocent people dying just like his own daughters. So in 1872 one day he created the first ever successful vaccine, the vaccine for fowl cholera in chickens.

In 1885 Louis Pasteur made his second successful vaccine for rabies which was very controversial at the time. In 1885 he was so proud of his inventions and was so happy that the people wouldn’t have to go through all that he had been through and they wouldn’t have to suffer like he did.

In 1895 September 28th Louis Pasteur died. Louis Pasteur died as a huge hero to many people, and a savior to many more. Most people will remember him and think of him as a hero to millions of people. I personally think he is a hero because of all he’s done. What do you think?

this week for maths we did division quick 100 with Sharon it was actually quite easy personally. for the quick 100 I got 100/ 100 and 2:01 minutes. for this math I enjoyed it and almost managed to beat sharon in the quick 100. can you do quick 100

My uncle just got diagnosed with cancer this morning. If I don’t save him I’m going to die. According to my calculations he has two weeks to choose if he wants to get cancer treatment. It’s been a week since my uncle got diagnosed, “please uncle please get cancer treatment it would make me die if you don’t” I said to him. We just found out that we don’t have all the money and were 1 thousand dollars short. So I’m going to set up a website for everyone to donate if they want. Please donate to my charity please. This week we had the cool rise team instead of our usual teachers. today I had Jude as our fill in. Today we did a kahoot about facts for birds. After we did a kahoot we had to write a blog post about what facts or fact that we learnt about birds during the kahoot. So the fact that I learnt was that the heaviest parrot is actually a kakapo bird. This activity was very fun and I really enjoyed it. Do you know any bird facts? This week I have been making a scratch create about the book I read. this book was very fun to read. maybe next time you could make a create. would you be able to?

For 2-3 weeks Eugene’s literacy group have been working on scratch coding. It has been a very fun activity but also has had some challenges. For all these activity I had to find the angle of the turn and then i had to move the characters steps. This was a very fun activity to do I would 100% recommend this activity. Can you make a shape.
